Things To Do on St. Pete Beach: before or after hitting the beach

We’ve got you covered for a few hours under a cabana on the beach, but while you’re here, check out these places to hit up either before or after. We’ve got you covered for coffee, brunch, beach bars, daytime activities, and places to stay!

Coffee

Grove Surf + Coffee: The absolute best way to start your day on St. Pete Beach. This adorable coffee spot also serves as a little surf shop. The vibes are great. A must try.

Brunch

The Helm: A little St. Pete Beach gem. This local fav is home to our favorite lobster roll, but the menu doesn’t stop there. They have crafty brunch specials, a drink menu to die for, and cute little brunch vibes. Closest location for a cabana afterwards: Upham Beach

82 Degrees: If you’re looking for brunch by the water, this is it. The windows are usually open and the gulf breeze is flowing. Located at the cute lil Saint Hotel, this brunch spot serves up coastal fare, cocktails, and views. Closest location for a cabana afterwards: Upham Beach on 70th (you can walk there)

The SeaHorse: Located on historic 8th Ave on Pass A Grille, this local fav has been serving breakfast and lunch since 1938. It’s charming, casual, and offers beautiful inner coastal views. Closest location for a cabana afterwards: Pass A Grille on 16th Ave

The Frog Pond: Think classic, casual, diner with large portions and great food! Located right next to Grove Surf + Coffee near the historic Corey Ave district. Closest location for a cabana afterwards: Upham Beach on 67th Ave

Daytime Activities

Beach Day with The Cabana Club: Hitting the beach is an obvious must, but dragging your beach equipment out totally kills the vibe. Let us do all the work of setting up your beach cabana so all you have to do is show up! We servive multiple locations on St. Pete Beach!

Boat Cruise with Captain Justin Vitalo: May we suggest a post-beach sunset cruise? Justin is the guy! He has various boat options and water sports to go with them!

Our Favorite Beach Bars

Bongo’s Beach Bar: First on our list for a reason! Relax with your feet in the sand, listen to live music, and enjoy one of our favorite margaritas on St. Pete Beach. Closest location for a cabana: 51st Ave W

Coconut Charlie’s: Definitely the cutest beach bar on St. Pete Beach! Closest location for a cabana: Upham Beach on 67th Ave

Jimmy B’s: We actually suggest hitting up Jimmy B’s at night! They host some of the best local bands on a regular basis and are one of the few places still bumpin’ after sunset! Closest location for a cabana: Upham Beach on 67th Ave

Postcard Inn: She’s an iconic St. Pete Beach bar. A place for locals and tourists a like. Closest location for a cabana: Upham Beach on 67th Ave

Views and Vibes

Dewey’s Rooftop: This hidden gem is located right off historic 8th Ave on Pass A Grille. Their bar features amazing craft cocktails with fresh juices and 360 degree views for sunset. It’s rare that you get intracoastal and Gulf views, but here you go!

Rooftop at Hotel Zamora: Okay, here’s the only other rooftop with 360 degree views of the intracoastal and Gulf for sunset! This one is a little more spacious, so we recommend it for larger groups!

Place to Stay

The Saint Hotel: It gives boutique hotel vibes, with a great pool, walkable to the beach, and super cute!

Hotel Zamora: Recently renovated! The Spanish Mediterranean vibes are lovely. Nestled right on the intracoastal waterway, yet right across the street from the Gulf. Definitely a great place for families or couples a like.

Berkley Beach Club: This boutique hotel is located right on Pass A Grille’s historic 8th Ave. Perfect for families or anyone looking for more spacious suites.
